Inspiration Corner

This is "Leeches in a Jar", an animation I love about a leech struggling with the futility of life. I greatly admire how the concept is able to be expressed so clearly despite such a simple and bizarre concept of leeches creating a society in a jar.

I have recently been interested in the work of Ralph Bakshi. I find myself identifying with most of his protagonists, in that they use fantasy to escape from their harsh realities, only to reflect their harsh realities into the fantasies they create.
